“Hey everyone, Dr. Denis Chang here—welcome back to Optimize Your Health. Today, I want to share a few simple but powerful exercises you can do right at home to support your chiropractic care, reduce tension, and keep your body performing at its best.

First up—the classic Cat-Cow Stretch.

It’s simple, but don’t underestimate it. Get on all fours, round your back like a cat, then dip your spine down while lifting your chest and head. Repeat for 10-15 reps. This movement increases spinal mobility, loosens tight muscles, and helps improve posture—perfect if you’ve been stuck at a desk all day.

Next—Seated Leg Raises.

Sit tall in a sturdy chair, engage your core, and lift one leg at a time, holding for a few seconds. It strengthens your core and stabilizes your lower back, which is key for keeping your spine supported throughout the day.

Want to take it a step further? Add simple wall angels to improve shoulder mobility and posture. Stand with your back flat against a wall, arms in a goalpost position, and slowly raise and lower them—like making a snow angel. Great for counteracting that forward hunch so many of us get from screens and stress.

But here’s the thing—exercises alone can only do so much.

If your spine is misaligned, those tight muscles and tension will keep coming back. That’s where chiropractic care makes the difference. Gentle adjustments help restore alignment, relieve pressure on your nerves, and help your body function the way it was designed to.

And if you’re ready to experience that for yourself—we make it easy. With our New Patient Special, you’ll get same-day digital X-rays, a full consult, spinal massage, and your first life-changing adjustment. We’ll assess your spine, show you exactly what’s going on, and map out a plan to get you back to feeling your best.

We care for patients of all ages with personalized, effective techniques to help you not just manage pain—but truly optimize your health.
